Nuddynews

Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame is going to appear in West-end play Equus completely nude. News agencies have lapped this up and I just wanted to put some funny things printed in the papers.

Harry Potter ditches his wizard outfit and reveals a different type of magic wand for his West End stage debut.

Daily Mirror

We bet Hermione Granger will be front row.

Daily Mirror

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is to appear on the London stage next year, playing a stable boy who has an erotic relationship with his horses.

BBC.co.uk

Equus, of course, being Latin for "stripping off and straddling a horse in Peter Shaffer plays and affording the artistically justified, but nevertheless always remarkable, sight of full-frontal actorly nudity".

Stocks

Weebl's got a new one, and it's rather funny. It's a live up to the minute stock market ticker (not really) with a funny thing. I'll give you this picture and a link to watch it.

Enjoy!

Mac

There are some new Get a Mac ads, but revised for the British screens. They feature Mitchell and Webb. Here's the link for them. You'll like them more than the US ones.

Godzilla

This video doesn't feature Godzilla himself, but it reminds me of people running away from Godzilla. Poor Godzilla, he didn't mean any harm to anyone.

Copyright

I was searching the deep bowels of YouTube looking for a video of Richard Hammond on last nights Top Gear (you will eventually do it). I didn't find it, but I found one of him in an underwater experiment that looked entertaining. So, I clicked on it and then this popped up...

This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner British Broadcasting Corporation because its content was used without permission

So, it took the BBC three years to get something done about copyright problems on YouTube. Right.

Drink

A funny funny funny funny funny video from the boys at nobodyswatching.tv

Sweden

Something I found on BoingBoing.

Apparently, Sweden is going to be the first ever country to have an embassy in Second Life. The embassy won't give out passports or visas so you can't be a virtual inhabitant of Sweden, but the embassy will be a sort of information portal about the country.

Islands on Second Life don't come cheap, and this one which is now officially owned by Sweden costs around $1675 with another $295 per month.

For more information on this hilariously stupid piece of news click here.

Oh, and on the subject of Second Life, if you're ever on, I'm called Road Wise.

Painful/Good

Here is an amateur singer in the Americas called Shane. He was spotted by thisisaknife and they are trying their best to get him on their next show. Donal asked Shane to sing Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics (he supports for Sunderland). Here it is, you be the judge of him.

Shane teaches with midi Eurythmics Sweet Dreams Dedicated to Donal at this is a knife

Beeb Two

Here's a handful of several BBC 2 idents I found online, thrown on YouTube and offered on a silver platter to you. Eeeh by gum.

And there they are.

It is now safe to turn off your computer.

Geriatric

I'm sure you're all aware of geriatric1927 and his videos on YouTube.

Well, I am and I'm surprised with myself that I haven't made a post dedicated to him. And because I uploaded a video of the BBC Power Cuts, I had a look at some of the "Related" videos.

And I found this BBC News report on geriatric1927. And I put it here.

Power

I'm feeling all nerdy, so I put a news report up on YouTube which was on in 2000 after BBC Television Centre's severe power failures. It's nice.

Blend :: 3

Good old Tom Dickson has been at it again and had made three new Will it Blend episodes (one is a "workout in a blender" and the other one - which I'm not going to show - is blended pickled pigs feet). In this one, Tom blends a tube of toothpaste, some Listerine, dental floss and a toothbrush for his uncle Floyd. We see Floyd's face for the first time in this episode too, so... that's a nice surprise.

Overparking

An old video I found whilst trawling the void that is my personal computing machine. It's my old neighbour's Rover blocking the entire path and a part of the road. For some weird reason, you may want this for your iPod or maybe your iPhone, a new mobile coming out in February (only in USA) which has a video iPod, phone, digital map and full web access all built into it.

Blend :: 2

A second blenderising, but this one looks so good, but if they only replaced the shake with a Coke...

I seem to go on a lot about Coke on the podcast posts so I'll stop.

Blend :: 1

If you've been anywhere near a computer for the past month or so you would have come across Will It Blend? and the antics of Tom Dickson, creator of Blendtec. If you don't know diddly squat about these things, I'll tell you. Tom and had super powerful blender blends things which other blenders haven't dared blending such as iPods, toy cars, full Christmas dinners, Coke cans with the can still on and workout DVDs. For those curious, I'll put up a few podcastable blends online, starting with the iPod.

'06

A short movie I made of some movie I made last year. Features my dad's long awkward pose. Enjoy.

I need you

I'm up, I'm in Amble and my grandma wants me to go to bed. But no, I have something much more important. I'm making a head-doctor DVD and I need one of you to sample it in it's Beta form.

If you think you're applicable to test my DVD containing my work, Ask a Ninja, and some other funny stuff then please leave a comment on this post.

I can't wait for this thing to stop burning.

?

For those who are unaware, Hannah is a new scribe to the blog and I may ask more people soon so it can be like a community blog. And we can all search the web, share the same Revver account and do the podcast all together. Nice.

Is it to be?

A big hi to Wayne who's dropped out of Green Chicken, remember him, the same Wayne who hardly spoke in the podcasts? I'd just like to remind him that me, Matty and him made a commitment to the show and there is no turning back. I would also like to tell Wayne if he doesn't want to co-operate, c'est la vie. At least Matty is doing something, he's going to co-write, but not appear on screen (or will he?). Yes, I admit, I have been pestering Matty all day in every single lesson, but all in all Green Chicken will be worth it all. And it WILL happen.

If you'd like more information about Green Chicken please click here.

Seriously...

...yeah, I meant my last post.

You should really REALLY install Firefox today for absolutely nothing today. You can type your blog in style every day and with the built in spelling checker, you can never ever misspell a single letter ever again.

And you don't have to keep its boring look. You can customize it, add toolbars and totally redesign the whole thing. I mean, I've personalized mine and it looks stunning, even for a crappy XP Media Edition (and in all fairness, it is quite crappy).

So why spend another day not using Firefox when you can use Firefox?

Monday, January 08, 2007

Wheee!

A funny video which I can laugh at now because I am a proud Firefox user. And you can be one today too! www.firefox.com for the best free web browser available. Did I say it was free?

Behind the Orangey Scenes - 2

Another master tape from the great superb fantismoid Orange Young Writers' Festival. Contains all the usual people, plus the cute Orange monkey mascot and some glass sinks from the Alnwick Garden toilets. The lowdown on this is that we have finished walking around the woods surrounding the garden and we arrive back to our little 'den' in the education room. So we just look around before the keys arrive.

Behind the Orangey Scenes - 1

This is a short behind the scenes master video of our painting demonstration on our treat day at the Orange Young Writers' Festival. Contains such faces as the outstanding thespian that is the legendary Sam Tuff.

Orange

This is a video I made a while back when I went to the Orange Young Writers' course at the Alnwick Gardens. My work was published in a book and I have two copies. Don't know why, probably for continuity reasons. Anyway, here's the masterpeice.

I'll try and put up some master unedited podcastable videos on the blog for you sprites.

Friday, January 05, 2007

This is the longest title I can think of so don't go nitpicking to me about how small my usual blog post titles are after I've published this one, OK?

Hmmm, I only wanted to do that so I can see what it looks like to have a title larger than three lines.

I'm watching the Friday Night Project, what you doin'?

Tourette

It was the start of Celebrity Big Brother last night, and I've been searching YouTube for the best entrance of the night. That of Donny Tourette. Here it is in it's full glory.

Nice, I can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring.

Adverts are sick

Take this one for example.

How can people get away with placing adverts like this on Myspace or any other website which will damage careers and reputations.

At least you can win a laptop though.

Shock horror

News agencies treat people like we're thick and can't work things out for ourselves, like this article by AOL who say that ex-Steps singer H (pictured) is gay. It's taken them eight years to work this out when it takes people about twenty seconds of a Steps performance.

Oh and thanks to Zefrank and "Weird Al" Yankovic who have added me to Myspace.

Ante Meridiem

I have finally written a post on my blog before noon. I might celebrate.

Dom from GD Productions seems to be living America because his holdiay's so bloody long. Or he might be back and is just hiding.

thisisaknife is taking a break this Thursday, which is a shame because I practically live off knife, although it is physically impossible.

I might put up some New Year's resolutions up later, you never know.

You never know.

Marking 7 Years of the Y2K Bug Scandal

Yay! It's a brand new shiney year! Here's last nights celebrations in London which I saw. Look out for the bloke with the goofy teeth. I saw him last night and he scared me.
